35 terrorists neutralised in Iraq

35 terrorists belonging to Workers' Party (PKK) were 'neutralised' by Turkish jets on Sunday.

This comes as part of ongoing counter-terrorism operations in Iraq's Qandil region.

As per the Anadolu Agency, the Turkish General Staff said the strikes were conducted by fighter jets targeting the areas occupied by PKK terrorists in Qandil.

The jets also destroyed terrorist shelters, hideouts, and weapons pits during the operation.

Airstrikes on PKK targets in northern have been carried out regularly since July 2015, when the party resumed its decade-long armed campaign.
