Three held for Alandur burglary, country made gun seized

One of the accused identified as history-sheeter; a stolen bike, cell phones and a camera that were burgled were also seized

NEW DELHI: City police have arrested three persons who were allegedly involved in burgling a house at Alandur last month. A country made gun was seized. According to a police press release, on May 21, one Gills Jose (28) of Thiruvalluvar Nagar at  Alandur filed a complaint at St Thomas Mount police station that his house had been burgled.

“During investigation, we nabbed G Dinesh (38) last week. His arrest led to the nabbing of  M Martin Raj (25) and R Ramakrishnan (38).

While arresting Ramakrishnan, we seized a country made handgun, a stolen bike, cell phones and a camera that he had allegedly burgled from the house.

Ramakrishnan is a history-sheeter, said Deputy Commissioner of Police, St Thomas Mount, M S Muthusamy. The trio have been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
