Full time here as Mexico cause the upset here as Lozano's goal ten minutes before half time was the only thing to separate the the teams today as Mexico rightly take the 1-0 victory!
YELLOW! The time wasting continues for the Mexicans as Herrera goes into the book this time.
CHANCE! Germany pile on the pressure as Brandt weaves through the defense but Mexico hold strong, Gomez then finds Brandt on the edge of the area who sends a well struck volley against the outside of the post!
CHANCE! Germany come forward again as Kimmich puts in a fantastic ball for Gomez who looks to have an open header but pushes it well wide of the post!
Third and final substitution for Germany as Werner makes way for Brandt.
YELLOW! A desperate Hummels dives in late on Alvarez results in a booking.
CHANCE! Kroos with a chance from distance after Germany caught Mexico napping, but Ochoa does well to save it low to his right.

Penalty appeals for Mexico as Hernandez seemed to be in behind the German defense but Hummels makes a tackle from behind inside the box and Hernandez went down but the referee waves his arms!
CHANCE! Werner blasts over! Hummels flicks the ball into his path and his first time effort at the far post is off target. Germany are upping the tempo.

CLOSE! Germany starting to tick here as a sustained period of possession ends in Kimmich hitting a bicycle kick just over the crossbar after Boateng clipped it in.
Germany are having more of the game now, but Kroos and Reus mess up their passing and concede a goal kick. Ozil appears to have moved into a deep midfield role which, given his hopeless defending for the goal, might be interesting to keep an eye on.

CHANCE! Massive chance for Mexico to make it two as they break once more with Hernandez and Vela but the former holds onto the ball for a second too long and overhits his pass that would have set Vela one-on-one.
Ozil opens his body and finds the run of Draxler to his left, but his shot is deflected out for a corner. The short set-piece routine quickly breaks down.
Penalty appeals for Germany as Werner goes down under a fair challenge just inside the area and the referee is not fussed.
Mexico are keeping the ball really well now, with their fans cheering every touch. Germany haven't exactly seized the initiative early in the second half.
Plattenhardt, the left-back, has the first shot of the second half, but it's tame from 25 yards and barely troubles Ochoa.
We are back underway for the second half, no changes from either manager and its all on the world champs to turn it around!
Half time here at the Luzhniki Stadium as an entertaining half comes to a close with just Lozano's 35th minute strike separating these teams with Mexico going into the break with a deserved 1-0 lead.
CHANCE! Mexico come forward again as Vela and Guardado combine well on the break before the former sends a curling shot just wide from the edge of the area!
Mexico hit Germany on the counter again as Vela runs at the lethargic back four, but makes the wrong choice and the ball is eventually too far ahead of the waiting Lozano, who was in space.
YELLOW! Moreno goes into the book for time-wasting on a Mexico free kick.
SAVE! Kroos delicately lifts the ball over the Mexican wall and curling towards the top corner but Ochoa glides across his line to push it onto the crossbar!
CLOSE! German almost hit back instantly coming close on two occasions as Khedira sees a volley well blocked before Kimmich goes down on the edge of the area affording the Germans a free kick just outside the area.
GOAL! Mexico take the deserved lead! They pick the ball up just outside their box and after a few quick passes Lazano cuts in front of a German defender and tucks it beyond Neuer, phenomenal team goal!
CLOSE! Great play in midfield as Vela tries to feed the ball through for Layun but its got just a little too much gas for the latter and Neuer pounces onto it.
Its not been the half the Germans would have wanted until now, Juan Carlos Osorio will be pleased with the way his team have performed so far today, but can they nick the all important goal before half time?
Layun has another long-range shot for Mexico, but his low daisy-cutter is picked up by Neuer. The Mexicans are playing really well, still and you wouldn't begrudge them a goal.
Mexico break again, but the final ball lets them down as Vela's cross is cut out. There were two balls on the pitch for a moment there, adding to the sense of chaos.
Kroos stands over a free-kick for Germany and when it breaks to Draxler in the box he can't get a shot away. Mexico break with pace and their three forwards charge forward, but Lozano loses the ball and Layun smashes over from range.
Ozil spreads the play to Draxler, who sets up Kroos to strike from distance. As with most shots in this game, it's straight at the goalkeeper. This is certainly lively.
CHANCE! Another huge chance, this time at the other end as Werner twists and turns inside the Mexico box before scrapping a low shot straight at Ochoa while Draxler was screaming for the ball in a certain goal scoring position.
CHANCE! Its the best chance of the game so far and it falls to Hernandez after a decisive pass through the German defense by Guardado on the edge of the box and is one-on-one with Neuer, but he takes too long to make his decision and is crowded out, big l
A brilliant delivery causes panic in the German defense as Moreno challenges for the header. It bounces off Hummels towards goal and Neuer has to dive and save.
Guardado goes in fairly hard on Kroos and the German goes down under the challenge and handles the ball on the floor and affords Mexico a free kick from 35 yards out.
All of the Mexico play is going through Carlos Vela, who is dropping deep and finding space. The latest Mexico chance falls to Herrera, who strikes from range and Neuer makes the catch.
Layun curls the free-kick disappointingly high of the target.
Mexico on the break but a mistimed challenge from Hummels affords them a free-kick in an extremely dangerous shooting position.
CLOSE! Another chance but this time at the other end as the Germans break quickly as Kimmich plays Werner in down the right side of the box but his first time shot goes just wide of the far post!
