Indian Council of Agricultural Research has made the Admit Card for All India Entrance Examination for UG, PG & Ph.D Admission (AIEEA) available on the official website.
Now the candidates can download their respective admit card from aieea.net.
The exam for AIEEA would be held on June 22-23, 2018.
STEPS TO DOWNLOAD THE ICAR AIEEA ADMIT CARD 2018
- Log on to the official website of ICAR: icar.org.in
- On the middle of the homepage, click on the link that says "Online Application for ICAR’s 23rd All India Entrance Examination for UG, PG and Ph.D. admissions"
- A new page will appear on your screen (https://www.aieea.net/)
- Under the announcement of the above mentioned page, click on the e-admit card link
- Now, enter your credentials and login on to the page
- View and download your admit card
- Take printout for future use
EXAM STRUCTURE
The Computer Based Test will be conducted as per the following schedule :-
The test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Admit Card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the invigilator.
The test will be of 2 and half hrs duration for UG/PG and 3 Hrs for Ph.D. (Timings as per your Admit Card ).

The test paper will be comprising of 3 sections opted by the candidate at the time of Online Applications, same will be reflected on e-Admit Card.
For subjects to be attempted in the Entrance Examination, depending on the choice and eligibility,
Those who have given the choice of subjects to be attempted as PCB, they will offered the questions from the section Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Biology (B). Similarly, those who have opted for PCM, will attempt the questions from the sections Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Math (M). For PCA, they will attempt the questions from subject Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Agriculture (A), while for ACB they will attempt the questions from subject Agriculture (A), Biology (B) and Chemistry (C).
All the three relevant sections/subjects will have the equal weightage.
Each correctly answered question will earn four marks, with a maximum of 720 marks for the paper. For each incorrect answer one mark will be deducted from the total score. Question with no response indicated will not be awarded any mark and there will be no negative marking for that question. The candidates are advised not to attempt such questions, for which they are not sure of the correct answer.
AIEEA-PG-2018
In each subject-group, 150 multiple choice objective type questions would be serially numbered from 1-150 whereas 10 cross-matching type questions would be serially numbered from 151-160.
Marking scheme: Each correctly answered multiple-choice objective type question will earn four marks whereas each correctly answered cross-matching type question will earn 5 marks (1 mark for each correct pairing) with a maximum of 650 marks for each major subject-group paper. For each incorrectly answered multiple-choice objective type question, one mark would be deducted from the total score whereas for each incorrectly answered cross-matching type sub-question/pairing, 0.2 marks would be deducted from the total score. Question with no response indicated will not be awarded any mark and there will be no negative marking for that question. The candidates are advised not to attempt such questions, for which they are not sure of the correct answer.
About ICAR
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), an apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research, extension and education in agriculture in the entire country under the aegis of DARE, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, has been able to foster a countrywide arrangement with the AUs to set aside 15% of their seats for Bachelor degree programmes to be admitted through ICAR's All India Entrance Examination so as to reduce academic inbreeding, increase mobility among students, encourage national integration and infuse merit and uniform examination standards leading to improved overall quality of higher agricultural education.
Accordingly, ICAR conducts All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) to Bachelor degree programmes in agriculture and allied subjects (other than veterinary sciences), at Agricultural Universities (Annexure-VIII) on 15% of the University seats (except RLB CAU

Karnal and Dr. RP CAU Pusa,
Bihar where 100% seats will be filledup) every year. National Talent Scholarship (NTS) of Rs.2000/- per month are awarded based on the AIEEA-UG examination to all those candidates who take admission outside their state of domicile. Further, not more than 40% candidates from any one state are admitted in any agricultural university/subject.
