Joe Joyce vs Hughie Fury? David Haye to open talks over bout TONIGHT after latest win
JOE JOYCE wants to take on Hughie Fury for the British title, his promoter David Haye has confirmed.

Fury was ringside with father and trainer Peter and promoter Mick Hennessy at York Hall tonight as Joyce took on Ivica Bacurin.
The Croatian was a late replacement for Richard Lartey, who pulled out two days before his chance to challenge for the Commonwealth heavyweight title.
Joyce's camp claimed as many as 10 fighters have withdrawn from bouts against him and Bacurin might as well have done, going down after one minute and 54 seconds of the first to an innocuous-looking short left hook.

The 36-year-old failed to beat the count and Joyce celebrated with his customary Brazilian dance-fighting, showing off the athleticism that makes him such a tricky prospect.
And promoter Haye, now finally retired from his own fighting career, wants to step up the level of opponent.
“Joe is so heavy-handed,” Haye said, insisting he would be speaking to the Fury camp at York Hall after the card.
“[Bacurin] went six rounds with Dillian Whyte and he dispatched him with a short left hook.
“It’s a testament to his punch power.
“People don’t want to get involved with it.
“Fury would be a great match to make and Joe would be well up for that.
“He wants to add the British title to the commonwealth. That would be the natural fight for me.”

Joyce has been working with Ismael Salas, whom David Haye brought to London for his second fight with Tony Bellew.
The trainer has been trying to improve his charge’s movement and while the 32-year-old admitted a first-round stoppage
“I learned loads during that training camp in Kazakhstan, the great work I did there, it’s a process,” Joyce said.
“[Bacurin] is no joke. He went 10 rounds with Tony.”
Something Haye, the retired boxer himself joked, only managed half of.
But the promoter was quick to point out that Bacurin is a fighter with a record of taking heavyweight punishment for longer than he managed this evening.
