Tributes pour in for Bok centurion Beast

Cape Town - Twitter was alive with words of praise for Tendai 'Beast' Mtawarira, who brought up his 100th Test cap on Saturday in South Africa's 23-12 win over England in Bloemfontein.

The 32-year-old became just the sixth South African to reach that milestone, and he was as pleased as anyone that the Boks emerged as winners on his special day. 

Mtawarira has started 91 of his 100 Test matches and he thanked his team-mates, family, support staff as well as South African rugby lovers. 

The tributes on Twitter told their own story as former players and fans alike paid tribute to the most-capped prop in Bok history. 

Mtawarira has not given indication as to when he sees himself stepping away from the game, but he is certainly a part of the plans for the 2019 World Cup in Japan.
