HYDERABAD: An aspiring freelance music composer, who was reportedly depressed, allegedly ended his life at his home. Though the incident took place about a week ago, it  came to light on Friday.  According to Hayathnagar inspector K Sathish, Vineeth Kumar alias Anurag (28), was aspiring to scale up his career but also was suffering with anger management issues and depression.

On June 8, at around 11 pm, when the family members were having dinner, Vineeth had a fight with his father. He went into his bedroom and hanged himself from the ceiling. His parents and younger brother Vikram rushed him to a private hospital where he died soon after being admitted, said the inspector.

Vikram then lodged a complaint that his brother was suffering from depression for quite some time and had anger management issues. Based on the complaint, a case of suspicious death was registered and Vineeth’s body was handed over to his family after post mortem examination at Osmania General Hospital mortuary, informed inspector Sathish. Ruling out rumours that Vineeth was a victim of drug abuse, the inspector said, “The investigation so far did not yield anything related to drug abuse. His family members do not have any suspicion about his habits.”
