The airline’s first flight to New Delhi departed from Nashik with a full complement guests on board its modern Boeing 737-800 Next Generation (NG) aircraft deployed on this route, offering both Premiere and Economy cabin comforts, with the best in-flight product and services. Guests travelling to/from Nashik get to experience the airline’s award-winning in-flight Entertainment (IFE), as also a choice of delectable meals.
The first flight from Nashik, 9W 3566, departed at 1435 hrs and will arrive in New Delhi at 1625 hrs. Earlier, Jet Airways flight 9W 3565 from New Delhi, which departed at 1200 hrs had reached Nashik at 1405 hrs.
One-way Economy fares on the Nashik – Delhi route (under the RCS scheme) start at INR 2,980.
The flight to New Delhi will currently be operated three times a week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Ahead of the launch of its inaugural service from Nashik Airport at Ojhar, Jet Airways conducted a ceremonial lamp lighting ceremony to mark the occasion of its inaugural flight to New Delhi. This inaugural function was led by Mr Raj Sivakumar – Senior Vice President – Network Planning and Revenue Management, Jet Airways. Senior Government officials and invitees from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) graced the occasion with their presence. This was followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting, marking the opening of the check in counters, where the first guests to check in, were felicitated with floral presentations and handing over of their boarding passes by senior Jet Airways officials to mark the flight launch.
The new flight from Nashik will offer excellent two-way connections over Delhi to Amritsar, Dehradun, Bhopal, Kolkata, Udaipur, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Indore, Dubai, Dammam, Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Doha.
Furthermore, guests will enjoy one-way connections over Delhi to Chandigarh, Guwahati and Leh.

Under the RCS scheme, Jet Airways has also launched services in Uttar Pradesh connecting the holy city of Allahabad with state capitals Lucknow and Patna. The airline will launch additional RCS services connecting Allahabad with Nagpur and Indore effective tomorrow. The new RCS services will operate thrice-a-week.
Introduction of the new flights will assist guests in travelling to a host of cities on Jet Airways’ domestic as well as international network, via convenient connections on offer.

Deployment of a B737, 168 seater for the first time from the city will also enhance the Cargo capacity between Nashik and New Delhi, enabling the carriage of about 2,500 kilos of cargo per flight (7,500 kilos per week) allowing Exporters to now send their consignments to multiple domestic and international destinations served by Jet Airways via Delhi. Majority of such consignments consist of commodities such as fruits and vegetables, mushrooms, automotive spares, engineering goods, small machine parts and pharmaceuticals.
Nashik is an ancient city in the northwest region of Maharashtra in India. Situated on the banks of Godavari river, Nashik is best known for being one of Hindu pilgrimage sites, that of Kumbh Mela which is held every 12 years. Shirdi, another holy site of significance is within close proximity to Nashik and attracts pilgrims from within India and overseas, throughout the year. The city, located about 190 km north of state capital, Mumbai, is often called the “Wine Capital of India”, as half of India’s vineyards and wineries are located in Nashik. It is also a defense and aerospace manufacturing hub with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited aircraft manufacturing plant located at Ozar.
