BJP Secy Chugh meets Bitta, Tarlochan Singh and Shreya Chopra; seeks support for 2019

Acting on an initiative launched by BJP president Amit Shah, BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh held separate meetings with All India Anti Terrorist Front Chief Maninderjit Singh Bitta, Former MP Tarlochan Singh and Miss India Shreya Chopra to apprise them of the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government and to seek support for the BJP for 2019 parliamentary elections.

It is pertinent to mention here that the BJP, under the leadership of Amit Shah has launched ‘Sankalp Se Samarthan’ programme under which various party leaders including the BJP chief himself are meeting important personalities to list the welfare works done by Modi government in the last four years and to seek their support.

Chugh, who met the three personalities at their residences, handed over booklets listing achievements of Modi government in the first four years and sought their support for 2019 general elections.

The BJP leader has called on various top educationists, former officers of Indian forces, Social Workers and politicians besides leaders representing youth, women and dalits.

He called upon former MP Tarlochan Singh, a former Chairman of National Minorities Commission and former OSD to Ex President late Giani Zail Singh. He also called upon Miss India Shreya Chopra and All India Anti Terrorist Front Chairman and former President of All India Youth Congress Maninderjit Singh Bitta.

Chugh acknowledged and praised the anti-terror stand and work of Bitta who hailed Modi government’s decision of ‘Surgical Strike’ against Pakistan based terrorists and its resolve to firmly fight against terrorism including the naxalites.

He briefed the three personalities about ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ concept of the Prime Minister which was being implemented without any discrimination across the country. He also touched the concepts, the implementation and the benefits of welfare schemes launched by PM Modi for the down-trodden, the farmers and expectant mothers.
