CRISTIANO RONALDO carries Portugal just like LeBron James carries the Cleveland Cavaliers, claims Manchester United legend Patrice Evra.

Ronaldo scored a sublime hat-trick in Portugal’s 3-3 World Cup draw with Spain last night.
The forward stole a point for his side late on, curling a sensational free kick past the helpless David De Gea.
Evra played alongside Ronaldo during his time at Manchester United.
And he says the Real Madrid star's impact on his national side is similar to James’ on the Cavaliers.
“Ronaldo I think is more mature,” Evra said on ITV.
He just reminds me of LeBron James playing for the Cavs. Now he is just carrying his team on his shoulders
“He just reminds me of LeBron James playing for the Cavs.
“Now he is just carrying his team on his shoulders.
“He’s really happy to do it and he’s confident to do it.
“So I was really pleased with Cristiano yesterday.”

Cristiano Ronaldo’s free kick was not a typical strike he has become so famous for, which surprised Evra.
“I was really surprised the way he kicked it,” Evra added.
“It was inside-footed and normally Ronaldo never kicks his free kicks like that.
“For me it was too close to the goal.”
