Andhra Pradesh: TDP MPs to organise series of protests from June 20

Aimed at bringing pressure on the Centre by the time the Monsoon Session of Parliament commences in July, the TDP MPs are gearing up to organise a series of protests from June 20.

VIJAYAWADA: Aimed at bringing pressure on the Centre by the time the Monsoon Session of Parliament commences in July, the TDP MPs are gearing up to organise a series of protests from June 20.

After a meeting with Chief Minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Undavalli near here on Friday, the MPs announced that they will organise day-long deekshas in Kadapa, Anantapur, Amaravati and Visakhapatnam.

As the Monsoon Session of Parliament is set to commence from July 16, the MPs said they will organise public meetings and deekshas in the said four places following the directions of Naidu.
