United Methodist Church to feature hymn sing on Sunday

FALL RIVER - United Methodist Church, 600 Highland Ave., announced the following scriptures will be read by the Liturgist; 1 Samuel 15:34- 16:13 13, Psalm 72, and Mark 4: 26-34 on the Fourth Sunday of Pentecost. Sunday will also feature a Hymn Sing, so come with your favorite hymn to sing. Worship is followed by light refreshments, free to all, in the social hall.

Childcare will provided Sunday morning's during regular services. During the summer there will be no scheduled Sunday School.  Any questions or concerns, call the church at 508-676-3091 ask for Kathy Morton- Superintendent of Sunday School.

On Monday evenings at 6:30 the prayer group “Sweet Hour of Prayer” meets and all are welcome.

Choir practice, which is led by Deb Carvalho: will practice on Sunday morning at 9 a.m.., and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
