BENGALURU: Candidates aspiring for undergraduate medical and dental seats in Karnataka medical colleges were disappointed as the portal for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) counselling registration was not working on Friday.

In an official notification, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) had stated that eligible candidates could register online from 4.00 pm on Friday to June 21 by visiting the KEA website. The results of NEET were announced on June 4 and the candidates have been waiting for the counselling process since then.
It also stated that candidates who have already registered with KEA for Common Entrance Test 2018 and have verified their documents, should compulsorily register for NEET 2018 by entering their CET 2018 admission ticket number.

"As per CET-2006 Admission Rules (who are holding verification slip), candidates who have completed their document verification as per their CET 2018 rank, need not attend the document Medical / Dental verification once again, in case there is no change in any reservations," the notification stated.
