Staff Officer Scott Griffith, Lee County Sheriff's Office, presented to the audience on ways to respond, assess, protect, and identify defenses during an active assailant encounter. Here he was demonstrating different ways you can use your keys if needing to fight back. The Lee County SheriffÕs Office, in a partnership with The Lee County Department of Public Safety and Lee County Trauma District, held a free public safety seminar called 'A CitizenÕs Response to Active Shooter and Mass Casualty Events'. The seminar was held at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.
