The Income Tax department has adopted a carrot and stick policy towards the taxpayers and the evaders respectively, and worked out modalities to render better services to the clientele, said Syama Prasad Chowdary, Principal Chief Commissioner of the department, after inaugurating the ‘Income Tax Seva Kendra’ in the department’s office near Kambala Cheruvu here on Friday.
