Faith Baptist Church, 3001 Southwest Pkwy.: Time to plan for this summer program. FaithKidZ is a five-day event featuring a musical presentation with games and Bible activities. The date is June 18-22 (Monday-Friday) from noon until 5:30 p.m. (lunch included each day). Children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to attend. There will be a special musical presentation, “Here for the Gold,” on at 6:30 p.m. June 22 for family and friends to attend. There are auditions for certain parts in the musical during May. To schedule an audition, call (940) 692-4220 and ask for Doug or Tonya. First Presbyterian Church, 3601 Taft Blvd.:  June 17, at the 10:50 a.m. Worship Service, Rev. Samuel Weems, co-pastor of the Church, will continue the pulpit series on the Lord’s Prayer with his sermon on “Give us this day our daily bread.”  June 20, at 6 p.m, in Fellowship Hall, Family Night Supper will present its Annual Fish Fry, serving fried fish, French fries, hush puppies, cole slaw, relish tray and dessert. The cost is $6 per person or $20 for families of four or more.

First United Methodist Church of Wichita Falls, 909 10th St.: Presenting 71st Summer Youth Musical, Guys and Dolls! Guys and Dolls is a musical romantic comedy set in late 1940’s Manhattan. June 29 at 7 p.m., June 30 at 2 and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. The show is directed by Luke Draper, who has performed in numerous shows at both Wichita and Backdoor Theatres, and features a talented cast of young performers, many of whom have appeared in shows at Wichita Theatre, Backdoor Theatre, or at FUMC in previous Youth Musicals.

Lakeview Church of the Nazarene, 4815 Fairway Blvd.: A "Blessing Box" is located by the church parking lot. This blessing box is for anyone who has a need. The box contains non perishable food items such as canned goods, canned meat, ramen noodles, cereal, etc. Anyone who would like to donate items to this ministry are welcome to bring items to the church.  If you are in need, you are welcome to come by and take what you would like.  We have had this box for about a year and it is such a "blessing" to people in our neighborhood.

New  Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1420 Borton Lane: Celebrate Pastor Angus and Sister Shirley Thompson for their 35th Anniversary Service as pastor and first lady of New Jerusalem Baptist Church. The festivities begin on at 7 p.m. June 21 for the Pastor & Wife Anniversary Musical. On June 22 at 7 p.m., the celebration continues with Rev.Virgil Nesbit, Pastor, Antioch Baptist Church, bringing the message, and on June 24 at 3:30 p.m., the Rev. Billy R. Delaney, Pastor, St. John Baptist Church giving the closing message.

University United Methodist Church, 3405 Taft Blvd.: June 16, UUMC's youth group is preparing for their mission trip to south Texas. June 17, announcement of a music camp will be made. The camp, set for July 9-11, is for children who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade and is free For further details contact the church office. A three-day Spiritual Fitness Camp for parents and kids (1 year -kindergarten) will be offered. A parent or guardian must accompany the child to participate.
