Giuliana Rancic is returning to co-host E! News this fall, E! announced Friday. Her first day back will be Sept. 4.

Rancic started on the nightly entertainment news show as a correspondent in 2002, and co-anchored it from 2005 to 2015. She was the longest-serving anchor in the show's nearly 30-year history. She will join Jason Kennedy, who has been co-anchor since 2015. In addition to her regular gig on E! News, Rancic will continue to co-host E!'s red carpet coverage.

Rancic was initially replaced by Maria Menounos, who left the show last summer as she battled a brain tumor. Catt Sadler then took over as co-anchor before leaving E! after she found out that she made half as much money as Kennedy, which sparked conversation over the gender pay gap. The co-anchor position is currently held by Zuri Hall, who will continue on as a correspondent after Rancic returns.
