Alwar women interact with PM in ‘Mann ki Baat’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with two women from Alwar during the radio programme ‘Mann ki Baat’ on Digital India on Friday. This is the second time when he interacted with women of Alwar district. A week back, Modi Interacted with Laxmi Devi of Pinan village, who underwent a knee surgery under one of the health schemes launched by his government.

The PM spoke to Sneh Lata Yogi (32), who runs a Common Service Centre for the last seven years in Bansur Tehsil headquarter of Alwar District . Modi asked her the people’s reaction to digital programme. “During your approach for this programme, what kind of difficulties did you face from your villagers,” he asked her.

Sneh Lata shared his experiences with Modi. PM also interacted with Poonam Devi, who works in the Common Service Centre of Sneh Lata. A student of Kotputli College, Poonam Devi praised him for starting such programmes.

Sneh Lata Yogi, later said that it was a historic moment for her when the PM interacted with her and asked about central schemes. “He praised the working of Common Service Centres which is pride for me,” she said.

“After this, I will be more energetic to spread Central schemes. I am working in my village, teaching the villagers about digital payment, use of Jandhan account and Bheem app. Changes are visible when these central schemes are implemented by the villagers,” she said.
