Homes Under The Hammer: Lucy Alexander sparks frenzy amongst fans with Instagram throwback
HOMES UNDER THE HAMMER star Lucy Alexander, who quit the show after 13 years back in 2016, delighted her Instagram followers as she reminisced about the hit property series.
The 47-year-old exited Homes Under the Hammer two years ago, but has continued to appear in repeat episodes of the BBC One series.
And, the TV presenter couldn’t help but express her delight on Instagram as she caught up on the show.
In the upload, Lucy could be seen standing beside her former co-star Martin Roberts, as the duo introduced the episode.
Sharing the clip with fans as she embraced “Hammer time”, Lucy revealed she hadn’t had the chance to watch the series while filming.
Beside the snap, she wrote: “After so many years filming it - it’s so good to now have time to sit back and watch it!
“It’s actually very good. Friday morning Hammertime.”
Lucy’s 15,500 Instagram followers were overjoyed by the capture, and rushed to show their support.
One commented: “Love Homes Under the Hammer, my favourite programme. Miss you not being on it anymore though Lucy.”
“It so is Lucy, very few stand such a long test of time,” gushed another admirer.
A third person wrote: “It went downhill when you left. Something special was missing.”

Meanwhile, TV presenter and radio host Lizzie Cundy penned: “Always amazing.”
Lucy recently opened up about watching the show repeats, which air on weekday mornings.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, she said: “It’s being the most amazing thing to have ever happened to me to be part of that.
“Having now left and it is behind me, I still miss it and I still turn it on [sometimes].”
The mother-of-two went on to admit that she hadn’t found the time to see herself on the show before now, due to filming commitments.
“Because I’ve filmed it, I’ve never had a chance to sit and watch it,” she spilled before adding: “And it is really quite good!”
“I am desperate to do that show,” she divulged.
“That would be my icing on the cake.”
Homes Under the Hammer airs weekdays on BBC One from 10am.
