Eric Schmidt is leaving Cowen as managing director and senior research analyst to join an undisclosed private biotech as CFO. A 20-year veteran of the firm, Schmidt covered over 20 small-, mid- and large-cap biotechs. He was a VP at UBS Securities covering biotech prior to joining Cowen.
