Emma Rourke, sr., D, DeKalb – The DeKalb defense was the Barbs’ calling card this year, and Rourke was the senior in the middle of it all. She also had a goal and two assists for the team.

Emma Rourke, sr., D, DeKalb – The DeKalb defense was the Barbs’ calling card this year, and Rourke was the senior in the middle of it all. She also had a goal and two assists for the team.

Lindsy Franzene, jr., D, DeKalb – Franzene did have an assist, but it was her defensive prowess that helped the Barbs record 13 shutouts as a team and win a regional title.

Jenna Lewey, sr., D, Sycamore – Not only was Lewey an anchor in the middle of the Sycamore defense, she took set pieces frequently for Sycamore and finished with two goals and six assists on the season.

Ella Holland, sr., MF, Sycamore – After missing all of 2017 with an injury, the 2016 Daily Chronicle POY had nine goals and 10 assists in her final prep season. She’ll play college ball at Northern Kentucky.

Kierah Meier, so., MF, Sycamore – Meier made a big leap in her second year with the Spartans, scoring 17 goals and dishing out 10 assists.

Jaden Peck, fr., MF, Sycamore – One of three 20-goal scorers for Sycamore this year, Peck scored 20 times and had nine assists in her freshman campaign.

Maddie Hill, sr., MF, DeKalb – Hill had nine goals and six assists this year for the Barbs.

Taylor Meier, jr., F, Sycamore – Up to 53 goals in three years in her career, Meier reach the 20-goal mark for the first time, netting five assists and scoring 20 times.

Rachel Lutter, jr., F/MF, Kaneland – Lutter earned all-conference honors after finishing with 13 goals and nine assists.

Emma Ball, jr., GK, Kaneland – Ball made 66 saves on the year while allowing only 13 goals. She also had eight shutouts on the year.
