BJP councillor's brother shot dead in water dispute

The brother of a died in a hospital here on Friday after being shot by his neighbour as a dispute over a water connection turned violent, police said.

The incident took place in Sangam Vihar area of south around 8 p.m. on Thursday when Krishan Bhadana, 35, brother of BJP's Subhash Bhadana, and his family got into an altercation with Babli, 38, and his family, said of Police, South,

"Krishan wanted to seek a water connection from the Jal Board for his home to which objected, which led to a quarrel," the said.

Then, and his family assaulted the Bhadanas with bricks and the issue snowballed as summoned his associates and even opened fire at the other side.

"Krishan and his son sustained gun shot injuries and their family members also got injured. Krishan died in hospital on Friday," he said.
