CHENNAI: A 75-year-old man was fatally run over by a speeding
car on the
Kamarajar Salai here on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ramanujam, a resident of V R Pillai Street in Triplicane. The accident happened when he was trying to cross the road, after a morning walk on the

Passersby rushed him to Government Royapettah Hospital (GRH), where doctors declared him brought dead.
The Anna Square traffic investigation wing police registered a case and arrested cab driver Sinthanai Selvan, 28. He was remanded in judicial custody.
