DU admission 2018: Entrance exam for B.El.Ed. on July 19

The entrance test for 405 seats under Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) programme will be held from 12-2 pm in 18 centres across the country.

Delhi University will conduct the entrance test for 405 seats under Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) on July 19. The course is offered only to women and is available in eight colleges.

The test will be held from 12-2 pm in 18 centres across the country. It will have questions from English and Hindi, Social Science, Mathematics and Science up to Class 10 level. The test will be of multiple choice question (MCQ) format and the entrance test will be bilingual (English and Hindi) wherever applicable.

The test will have 100 questions. For each correct answer, a student shall score four marks and for each wrong answer one mark will be deducted. “There will be no descriptive questions.”

B.El.Ed. programme is a four-year integrated professional degree programme of Elementary Teacher Education. Students study different theory courses in education, subject disciplines and practical courses such as school contact programme, classroom management and material development.

Those applying must have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and scored a minimum of 50% in each of the four subjects.
