RAGERSVILLE An old-fashioned ice cream social, in honor of National Dairy Month, will be open to the public at the Ragersville Historical Society Museum at 8800 Crooked Run Road, Sugarcreek.

The event will take place June 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as a salute to the area’s rich dairy farming heritage. Ice cream will be served, along with sandwiches.

The society operates the museum located in the restored Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1830 School House, replica of Conrad Rager’s Log House, and Jacob Steiner Cheese House. All buildings will be open and admission is free.

Donations are appreciated and will be used for operating and maintaining the museum.
