FORTNITE fans are currently playing through season 4 on PS4, Xbox One, Mobile and Nintendo Switch, trying to unlock the huge amount of Battle Pass content. But when is the season 4 end date and what is the season 5 release date?
EPIC GAMES
Fortnite season 4 launched in May, with a fresh Battle Pass theme and tonnes of new content.
But when will the end date be for Fortnite season 4? And when is the Fortnite season 5 release date? How much do we know about the upcoming Battle Pass update?
If you’re wondering what is the answers to these Fortnite questions, then Express.co.uk has you covered.
FORTNITE - WHEN IS THE FORTNITE SEASON 4 END DATE?
The Fortnite Battle Pass is currently running a countdown which shows how much time fans have left till Fortnite season 4 finishes.
At the moment, the Fortnite season 4 end date is (according to the Epic Games countdown) going to be Monday July 9 2018.
While this is the listed Fortnite season 4 end date, there is always a chance that Fortnite updates could be subject to change or delays.
The Fortnite season 2 end date, and Fortnite season 3 release date, ended up being delayed by one day.
This was so Fortnite fans could have extra time to unlock all the Fortnite season 2 content available to them.
So stay tuned just in case there are any delays to the Fortnite season 4 end date.
The Fortnite season 3 start date delay was announced quite late on by Epic Games.
So if this does happen again with Fortnite season 5 it won't be until the closing stages of season 4.
FORTNITE - WHEN IS THE FORTNITE SEASON 5 RELEASE DATE?
With the last two season crossovers the new Fortnite Battle Pass season began the day after the previous one finished.
Fortnite season 3 began a day after Fortnite season 2 ended, and Fortnite season 4 had a release date the day after the Fortnite season 3 end date.
So, if all goes to plan and Fortnite season 4 has an end date of Monday July 9 2018, then Fortnite season 5 is likely to have a Tuesday July 10 2018 release date.
FORTNITE SEASON 5 - WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT IT?
In the run up to Fortnite season 4 being released, fans were teased about the superhero theme.
One fan theory also came up with the idea that a huge meteor would hit into and destroy Tilted Towers to kick-start Fortnite season 4.
This was close, but no cigar, with Fortnite season 4 instead starting with a meteor destroying Dusty Depot - now known as Dusty Divot.
Early into the start of Fortnite season 4, theories started emerging about what Fortnite season 4 would be about.
Rumours have claimed that the meteor that smashed into Dusty Depot could have brought something with it.
Anyone that has gone to Dusty Divot knows that the meteor is being housed in a white tent with scientific looking equipment surrounding it.
The scene looks like it was taken straight from a sci-fi movie.
And Fortnite Reddit fans have speculated that the meteor could have brought with it dinosaurs or a Godzilla-style creature.
They have claimed that these creatures could be the spark that kicks-off Fortnite season 5.
These rumours were given further weight on the Fortnite Battle Royale Reddit page when a Redditor posted an interesting aerial screenshot.

The picture showed a destroyed building, and right at the centre of it was a giant footprint.
Responding to the revealing picture, one Redditor wrote: “Godzilla event for Season 5 hype starting already?”
While another added: “That’s way too big to be a dinosaur. It’s definitely Godzilla.”
One posted: “Trailer for Season 4. On the cinema screen there are two icons. One shows a meteor and the other a dinosaur.”
And another wrote: “You also see two players wearing the dinosaur outfits about to get wiped out by the meteor.
“I thought it was just them being funny but we don't know what was in that chug jug…”

Other discoveries in Fortnite season 4 have led to speculation over how Fortnite season 5 will begin.
The Fortnite season 4 update changed the Battle Royale map in a number of ways, with the new Risky Reels added to the playing field.
But while that and Dusty Divot were the headline additions to the Fortnite map, Epic Games also included a number of surprise hotspots for players to stumble across.
One of these locations is what appears to be a super villain lair near Snobby Shores.
And inside the hidden lair appears to be a nuclear warhead.
It has led fans to speculating that the super villains added to Fortnite in season 4 could be planning to destroy the Fortnite map with a nuke.
This theory was given further weight when the Blockbuster skin was leaked in June around the time of E3 2018.
The leaked loading screen for Fortnite season 4 week 7 and 8 showed a robotic looking villain in the super villain lair preparing to launch the nuke.
The robotic looking villain is also the Blockbuster skin reward for completing seven out of those 10 challenges, and the character is known as 'The Visitor;.
This could be what ends Fortnite season 4, or possibly starts Fortnite season 5 instead of the arrival of a Godzilla-type creature.
Besides the super villain lair, Fortnite players have also found a huge underground bunker which could be used to protect players from a blast.
While Fortnite fans also have found a mysterious hatch in Wailing Woods that is completely unbreakable.
Is it possible that the hatch leads to an area where dinosaurs or a Godzilla-like creature is being kept away from players?
And could these creatures break free at the start of Fortnite season 5?
There are plenty of possibilities, with more rumours set to emerge as the Fortnite season 5 release date draws nearer.
