Mane happy at Liverpool

He has been linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid but Liverpool forward Sadio Mane says he is happy to stay at Anfield.

The Senegal international scored 23 goals for Liverpool in the 2017-18 season, including one against Real in the Champions League final defeat in Kiev last month.

Quoted by the London Evening Standard, the 26-year-old forward told Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten: “I am very happy in Liverpool and my contract will last for three more years. But you never know what will happen in the future. I want to win trophies, especially the Champions League.”

Antoine Griezmann: Atletico Madrid to Barcelona/Man Utd

According to reports in Spain Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann could make a decision on his future today. Ahead of the World Cup this week the French forward refused to discuss his future. He has been linked with Barcelona and Manchester United. (BBC via Mundo Deportivo) 

Martial wants to leave Old Trafford

Anthony Martial’s agent has confirmed that the French forward wants to leave Manchester United. The 22-year-old, who has been linked with Tottenham, has “grown increasingly disillusioned under Jose Mourinho” The Daily Telegraph reports. Martial’s representative Philippe Lamboley told RMC in France: “After thinking about all the possibilities, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United.” Sky Sports says that United are not looking to sell Martial. 

Mario Gotze: Borussia Dortmund to Arsenal/Everton/West Ham

Three Premier League clubs - Arsenal, Everton and West Ham - are interested in signing Mario Gotze from Borussia Dortmund. The 26-year-old scored Germany’s winning goal in the 2014 World Cup final but was not selected for the tournament this year in Russia. Marseille and Valencia are also keen on the former Bayern Munich star. (Sky Sports) 

Jerome Boateng: Bayern Munich to Manchester United

Another German star who could be on his way to England is Jerome Boateng. Bayern Munich will allow the defender to leave for the right price and it’s reported that Manchester United are monitoring his situation. Boateng previously played in the Premier League for Manchester City. United to follow progress of Sessegnon and Tierney

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will not sign a new left-back this summer, instead he will keep tabs on Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon and Celtic’s Kieran Tierney with a view of making a move next year. (Manchester Evening News) 

Jack Grealish: Aston Villa to Tottenham

It’s reported that Spurs have made a £15m bid for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish. Villa’s financial issues mean they may have to part with their prized asset. Chelsea, Fulham and Leicester are also keen on the 22-year-old. (Sky Sports) 

Mousa Dembele: Tottenham to Juventus/Inter/Napoli

Mousa Dembele’s agent has flown to Italy to “sound out interest” from Serie A clubs. The 30-year-old Spurs midfielder is linked with Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli and has a reported price tag of £26m. (talkSPORT) 

Nick Pope: Burnley to Liverpool

Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope, who is part of England’s World Cup squad, is a target for Liverpool. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp could line up a £15m bid for the 26-year-old stopper. (90min)
