No official position, but will take suggestions from Narayana Murthy: Karnataka CM

The State Government has no plans to offer any position to Infosys founder N.R.Narayana Murthy in view of his advancing age, but will take his suggestions, Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy said on Thursday.
The CM clarified on Murthy appointment reports on Thursday, and said the Infosys founder would find it difficult to work in a full-time government position.
Two weeks ago, soon after taking over as CM Kumaraswamy had visited Murthy in his Bengaluru residence and sought his guidance in making Bengaluru a better City in terms of infrastructure, and transportation, among the others. The Infosys founder responded positively, and agreed to work on a blueprint for city development.
The CM, who shares a cordial relationship with Murthy family, had requested him to be part of an advisory group he intended to form to advise on Bengaluru. Murthy, however, had declined an official position, but agreed to submit a blueprint in about two months.
