All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

In Tamil Nadu, six passengers were killed and 28 others injured when a bus fell into a deep gorge near Udhagamandalam in the hilly Nilgiris District today.

Police said, the driver of the state-run transport corporation bus was trying to avoid a pit on the ghat road when the mishap occurred at Mandada.

The bus was proceeding to nearby Coonoor. Personnel of the Fire and Rescue force, police and state disaster management agency rescued the injured.
