Rebel Wilson won't get the largest defamation payout in Australian history after all.
Last year she won her case against publisher Bauer Media over articles they wrote about the actress in which she was portrayed as a serial liar.
The publishing of the piece reportedly cost the actress at least two jobs she was attached to.
A judge ordered the company to pay $4.5 million Australian dollars, which was the largest defamation payout in the country's history.
However, recently another court reduced the sum to only $600,000 dollars.
The 'Pitch Perfect' star had previously announced that she would donate all the money she won to good causes.
The court says that the reason for its new decision is because the funny actress failed to conclusively prove that she missed out on the roles specifically because of the articles.
