FALL RIVER — Take positive steps toward wellness this summer by learning about a healthy lifestyle with Saint Anne’s Hospital “Eat Healthy, Be Active” program.

“Eat Healthy, Be Active” is a free series designed to help adults of any age learn useful tips for a healthy lifestyle. One-hour workshops cover such topics as:

“Enjoy Healthy Food That Tastes Great”

“Quick, Healthy Meals and Snacks”

“Eating Healthy on a Budget”

“Tips for Losing Weight and Keeping It Off”

“Making Healthy Eating Part of Your Total Lifestyle”

“Physical Activity Is Key to Living Well”

The “Eat Healthy, Be Active” series is facilitated by Rose Couto, RN, CDE, of Saint Anne’s Hospital’s Diabetes Education Program. The program is open to any adult with the desire to learn easy tips for healthier eating and incorporating physical activity into everyday life.

Beginning June 20, workshops are held weekly from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at People Incorporated, 4 South Main St., Fall River. Participants can join at any time. There is no charge, but to ensure participation, pre-registration is required.
