Premier League fixtures revealed

Liverpool’s first game of the Premier League season will be against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The first Merseyside derby is on December 1.

On New Year’s Day, Liverpool travel to Man City.

The final day of the season sees Jurgen Klopp’s men face Wolves at Anfield.

Mane happy

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane insists he is happy in Anfield but refused to rule out a move in the future.

Mane enjoyed an impressive 2017-18 season with 10 goals and seven assists in the Premier League.

Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Mane but the 26-year-old says he’s content with life at Liverpool.

"I am very happy in Liverpool and my contract will last for three more years," Mane told Salzburger Nachrichten.

"As I said, I'm happy in Liverpool. But you never know what will happen in the future."

Lazio ace wanted

Liverpool are reportedly keeping an eye on Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is desperate to sign a new keeper after running out of patience with Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.

And according to Italian outlet Il Messaggero, Liverpool are ready to start talks with Lazio for Strakosha.

It claimed the Albania international is valued at around £26.4million.

Chelsea coup

Could Liverpool swoop for Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois?

That is a distinct possibility according to Sky Sport reporter Vinny O’Connor

“This is an interesting one. He is linked with Real Madrid,” O’Connor told the Transfer Talk podcast.

“Chelsea are looking to get a fee for him before he is out of contract. If Alisson going to Real Madrid, would Liverpool look at Courtois?

“It’s whether Chelsea would look to do business with Liverpool.”
