Rajkot: Nine persons including six loan sharks were booked on Wednesday night for threatening a businessman who lives in Rajat Society on the 80-feet road in Rajkot.
Alpesh Babaria (35), a factory owner, has alleged in his complaint that Nirmal Boricha, Naran Korat, his son in-law Bhavesh, his sons — Rajani Korat and Sanjay Korat — and Haresh Korat were threatening him to recover more money on the interest of Rs 44 lakh loan that he had taken from them. Nihar Korat, Krishna Kurat and Munna Balasara also used to threaten him along with the accused.

“Babaria claims that he had already paid Rs 89 lakh with interest to the accused and yet they were harassing him by demanding more money,” said an official from Bhaktinagar police station.
