A video game company led by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute students was named a finalists in the college game competition at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, in Los Angeles this week.
The game development company, called Dang!, includes RPI seniors Ben Caulkins and Sam Suite, and they have developed several video games, including IO Interloper, a "corporate espionage hacking game."
Dang! was recognized back in March when it was also an awards finalist at the Independent Games Festival in San Francisco.
Caulkins and Suite are part of RPI's Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences program.
RPI has one of the strongest video game development programs in the country, and Troy has become a hotbed of video game development.
