The ruling AAP today launched a social media campaign and took out a candle march at Rajghat as Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his three ministerial colleagues continued their sit-in at the L-G's over IAS officers' "strike" and doorstep delivery of ration.
In one such video, AAP spokesperson and MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj, accompanied by other legislators of the party, was seen appealing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to end the IAS officers "strike".
"Modiji we all MLAs have come to Rajghat. Delhi defeated you so you are angry. But forgive Delhi now and we request you to send back the IAS officers on work," he said.
The candle march at Mahatma Gandhi's memorial in Rajghat concluded with AAP leaders and workers holding prayers for "good wisdom" to prevail over the Lt Governor.
The ruling party has also announced that it would stage a massive protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Sunday over the issue.
Kejriwal, his deputy Manish Sisodia, ministers Satyendar Jain and Gopal Rai sat on a dharna at the office of Lt Governor Anil Baijal on Monday evening, demanding him to direct IAS officers to end their "strike" and approve doorstep ration delivery scheme.
The IAS officers association has denied on being so called "strike".
They have been, however, avoiding meetings called by ministers over protest against an alleged assault by AAP MLAs on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash at the chief minister's office during a late night meeting on February 19.
