Two people rushed to hospital after crash involving semi on Highway 1
A semi roll-over on Highway 1 east of Balgonie has caused the entire west lane to be blocked.

Emergency crews say they were called to a two-vehicle collision around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A semi and a car had collided, flipping the semi onto its side and blocking the westbound lanes of Highway 1. The other vehicle was in the ditch with severe damage.
Both the driver of the semi and the driver of the car were rushed to hospital in Regina. There is no word on their condition at this time.
The westbound lanes of Highway 1 were blocked, and traffic was reduced to 60 km/hour and rerouted around the scene.
No word on the cause of the crash.
