West Liberty University’s student-athletes capped another strong year in the classroom on Thursday when 68 Hilltopper standouts, including several former area high school standouts, were named to the Mountain East Conference’s All-Academic Team and Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring semester.
Making the MEC All-Academic team (3.70-4.00) from baseball was Coby Eckstein (Indian Valley), while Dalton Bolon (Indian Valley) was honored from men's basketball, Audrey Tingle (Ridgewood) from women's basketball and Kaitlyn Stress (Garaway) from softball.
