RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: IT Minister KT Rama Rao said that Telangana would soon become prosperous on all fronts as was dreamt by great poet Dasaradhi Krishnamacharyulu, whose poem Naa Telanganamu Koti Ratanala Veena (My Telangana is a Veena with crores of diamonds), was an inspiration to Telangana peasants’ armed struggle against the tyrant Nizam.

“As Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is constructing various irrigation projects in a speedy manner to provide irrigation facilities, the entire state will become Bangaru Telangana,” KTR said. At Sardapur village of Sircilla mandal in the district, KTR laid a foundation stone for an agriculture college along with Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, on Wednesday.

Addressing a gathering, KTR said that the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project would go down  in history as a huge project which was constructed in a very short period. “Telangana, which was formed for getting the rightful share in river waters, and providing employment to youngsters in the region, is marching ahead to reach its target,” he added.
