DS3 Café Racer Limited Edition Launched In UK From £21,305

Citroen’s premium brand DS is celebrating the motorcycle culture of 1960s London with a special edition of the DS3.

Called DS3 Café Racer, it’s limited to 150 units, and can already be ordered in three different grades. The first one uses the 110PS (108hp / 81kW) engine, with a manual gearbox, and costs £21,305 ($28,460). The second one adds a six-speed automatic transmission, from £22,825 ($30,491), and the third one is powered by the 130PS (128hp / 95kW) unit, mated to a stick shift, and can be had from £21,825 ($29,155).

Distinctive features of the car are the four color combinations, with Ink Blue, Perla Nera Black, Platinum Grey and Ruby Red body finishes, and Parthenon Cream roof.

Elsewhere, the new DS3 Café Racer features ‘Café Racer’ badging on the bonnet and doors, decorations on the boot and shark fin antenna that mirror the roof decals, exclusive 17-inch black diamond-cut Bellone alloy wheels with Parthenon Cream centers, and a chrome license plate embellisher. The door handles and side mirror casings have a glossy black look, and the car also features tinted rear windows.

Inside, it gets Trinitario Brown Nappa leather seats, perforated leather steering wheel, aluminum pedals and footrest and several other special features.

The equipment list includes xenon headlights, reversing camera, 7-inch touchscreen display, sat-nav, smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink, and the DS Connect Box with emergency and assistance systems.
