Barcelona were today told they have no chance of signing Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.
And manager Ernesto Valverde may waste little time dwelling on the snub.
According to Spanish newspaper SPORT, there are four men from PSG on Barca’s wish list.
The revelation on Wednesday that PSG must raise at least £53m before July 1 to avoid Financial Fair Play sanctions has caught Valverde’s attention.
SPORT claim the manager could move for midfielder Adrien Rabiot and Marco Verratti this summer.

Rabiot, 23, is two years Verratti’s senior but would cost less than the Italian dynamo.
Verratti himself was pursued by Barca all last summer but PSG refused to do business with the Nou Camp club, and then turned the tables on their Champions League rivals by trigger Neymar’s £200m release clause.
Meanwhile, Griezmann’s snub opens up the opportunity of Barcelona landing Edinson Cavani.

SPORT claim a move for 31-year-old Cavani would cost Barcelona the £53m PSG need to escape UEFA’s FFP sanctions.
Angel Di Maria - formerly of Real Madrid and Manchester United - is the fourth potential target at the Nou Camp.
The 30-year-old’s contract expires next summer, meaning his transfer value is at its lowest since his joined Real from Benfica in 2010.
