BREAKING: Glasgow tower block on fire - smoke billows from top floors
A HUGE fire has erupted at the top of a tower block in Glasgow, Scotland one year after the tragic Grenfell Tower fire in London.

Firefighters are tackling the blaze at the tower block in Glasgow, which began in the kitchen of a 14th floor flat.
Smoke can be seen billowing out of the top floors of the flats in Ballater Street in the Gorbals area of the city.
There is around 12 fire engines and three accident respond teams at the scene of the fire.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 7.58am on Thursday, June 14 to reports of a fire within a flat in Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised a number of resources to the scene at Commercial Court, where a fire has taken hold within the kitchen of the 14th floor property.
“Crews presently remain at the scene.”

Worried neighbours took to Twitter to wish everyone well, Dylan said: “Just phone 999 about a fire in Gorbals! Hope everyone gets out alright.”
Another person wrote: “The flats at the Gorbals are on fire. Please let everyone get out ok.”
This time last year a horrific fire in Grenfell Tower, west London killed 72 people.
A minute’s silence is due to be observed across the country today at midday following the disaster at the London’s tower block.
