Body found floating in Speed River in downtown Guelph

Guelph police have confirmed that the body of an unidentified man has been discovered in the Speed River in downtown Guelph.

Guelph police have confirmed that the body of an unidentified man has been discovered in the Speed River in downtown Guelph. 

Police officers were called to an area near Arthur Street and Wellington Street after a citizen reported seeing a body floating in the river around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say that they have not identified the man or notified his relatives.
