• Clippers: Catcher Francisco Mejia had a double, a home run and three RBI as visiting Triple-A Columbus (32-32) beat Louisville, 8-2. Center fielder Brandon Barnes had two hits, two runs and three RBI, and shortstop Yu Chang had three hits, including two doubles. Ryan Merritt pitched three innings and gave up zero runs on four hits.

• RubberDucks: Visiting New Hampshire held Double-A Akron (37-29) to two hits in a 3-0 victory. RubberDucks starter Michael Peoples (1-2) gave up one unearned run in five innings, but took the loss.

• Hillcats: Luke Wakamatsu’s RBI single in the ninth inning was advanced Single-A Lynchburg’s only hit in a 6-1 loss to visiting Salem.

• Captains: Jesse Berardi’s single brought home Ulysses Cantu with the game-winning run in the 10th inning as Single-A Lake County (29-38) beat Lansing, 4-3, to complete a sweep.
