David O'Meara's runner didn't appear to relish the quirks of Chester but can be given a chance to put that behind him now. The Sea The Stars gelding had previously notched a double at Thirsk, looking like he had more to offer in doing so. The French import scored on good-to-firm over this mile and a half trip on the second of those Scottish successes and STONIFIC can bounce back at odds of 5/1 on this more conventional track, where O'Meara has a 20% strike rate so far in 2018 (3-15).
