The jukebox musical “The Simon & Garfunkel Story” will recreate the sounds and songs of Simon & Garfunkel this October when it visits Fort Myers.

Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall announced the Oct. 29 show this morning. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

Pre-sale tickets for Mann Hall’s Email Club members go on sale one to three days before the general sale date.

The critically acclaimed musical tells the story of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, two boys from Queens who eventually became the most successful music duo of all time.

Here’s how the show’s website describes the touring musical: “Using state of the art video projection, incredible lighting and a full live band, ‘The Simon & Garfunkel Story’ is a moving and powerful concert featuring all the hits such as ‘Mrs Robinson’, ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, ‘Homeward Bound’, ‘Scarborough Fair’, ‘The Boxer’, ‘The Sound Of Silence’ and many more.”

The show opened September 2017 at the Lyric Theatre on London’s West End and continues its run there through July 23. Now it’s touring the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Ticket prices weren’t immediately available.
