Residents at Pullurampara were safely evacuated on Tuesday evening following a landslip reported at Anakkampoyil in the rural belt of the district.
Some of the affected people have been shifted to Pullurampara St. Sebastian’s Higher Secondary School and their relatives’ houses at other places.
A team of officials led by Thamarassery Tehsildar Mohammed Rafeeq, revenue staff, police personnel and Fire and Rescue Services personnel took part in the rescue operations.
