The has approved the proposal for appointment of Kumar Ray as Deputy of for a tenure of two years, an said here on Wednesday.

"The Appointment Committe has approved the Department of Commerce's proposal for appointment of Kumar Ray as Deputy of India for a tenure of two years (further extendable upto a maximum tenure of five years) from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier," an told IANS.
