Jamie Foxx has been accused of sexual assault.

A woman alleges that the actor slapped her with his penis during a party in Las Vegas in 2002, TMZ reports. She claims that while attending a party with a friend at his home, Foxx tried to get her to perform oral sex on him. When she denied him, he allegedly hit her with his genitalia. The woman says that when she returned to Los Angeles the next day, she checked herself into the hospital for a severe panic attack. She added that she has come forward now after being inspired by the #MeToo movement.

Foxx has vehemently denied those allegations and vows to pursue legal action against his accuser. "Jamie emphatically denies that this incident ever occurred, and he will be filing a report with the Las Vegas Police Department against the woman for filing a false police report against him. The first time [Foxx] became aware of this woman's absurd claims about an incident that supposedly occurred 16 years ago was when TMZ contacted his representatives [Tuesday] about this story," Foxx's lawyer Allison Hart told TMZ.

She continued: "The alleged incident was not reported to law enforcement in 2002, or at any other time in the last 16 years until last Friday because the incident never happened."

Las Vegas police officials have confirmed that the case is an open investigation. However, the statue of limitations -- which is three years for Nevada -- has long since expired.

Foxx currently hosts the reality game show Beat Shazam on Fox with his daughter Corinne Fox. He'll next be seen starring opposite Jamie Dornan and Taron Egerton in the live-action adaptation of Robin Hood, slated for release this November.
