It's a surprisingly packed podcast for early June.

We lead things off by talking about the news that quarterback Josh Jackson's status is up in the air as the university looks into an academic matter. We talk about the latest there and how long it might take to reach a resolution.

We also talk about the Hokies' recent recruiting success, Tech adding Middle Tennessee to the schedule in 2020 and '21 and Bronco Mendenhall's blunt comments to UVa's Board of Visitors. We close by doing a five-round draft of non-conference opponents we'd like to see added to the Hokies' schedule.

As usual, I'm doing a Hokies mailbag on Friday too and can use some fresh questions. Either send me an email at andy.bitter@roanoke.com or compose your question in a tweet to @AndyBitterVT.

Our podcast will make its way up on these sites soon for your listening pleasure: SoundCloud | iTunes | Stitcher.
