• Clippers: Host Louisville got to Triple-A Columbus pitching for 12 hits, including three home runs, in a 7-1 victory over the Clippers (31-32). Todd Hankins’ solo home run was one of four hits for Columbus.

• RubberDucks: First baseman Joe Sever had one of Double-A Akron’s five doubles and three RBI in the RubberDucks’ 8-2 victory over visiting New Hampshire. Right fielder Connor Marabell also drove in two runs for the RubberDucks (37-28).

• Hillcats: In the first game of a doubleheader, host Frederick held advanced Single-A Lynchburg to seven hits in a 3-0 victory. The Keys also won the second game by the same score. Right fielder Jodd Carter had two of the Hillcats’ four hits. For the doubleheader, Lynchburg (27-36) was 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position.

• Captains: Left fielder Oscar Gonzalez had two doubles and three RBI as Single-A Lake County (28-38) won its second straight, 11-3, over Lansing. Gonzalez has 30 RBI for the season.
